My name is Flo, and this is Flow On Lupus, my Lupus Blog! I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I work full-time as a Consultant in the field of HR. I enjoy cooking, blogging, and spending time with my family, friends and my wonderful fiance. I also, of course, have Lupus.

I was diagnosed with SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) when I was 14 years old. This trying time was difficult not only for myself but for my family too.  I credit my family and my friends for giving me the strength to remain positive and continue moving forward. Major shout out to my brother for donating one of his kidneys to me in March of 2012.  Receiving a living donor kidney transplant was the sweetest gift I’ve ever received, and I will cherish it forever.

I have no plans to let my chronic illness stop me from achieving my goals or my dreams. Being healthy, happy and living well are my life goals, and this is non-negotiable! Join me while I achieve these goals while having some fun along the way.
